Santa has a pretty big night ahead of himself. Haven’t you ever wondered if Santa gets sick of nibbling on cookies at every house? When my son was little, he would pick out what he thought Santa would want each year. Over the years, Santa has been given pretzels, vanilla wafers, and a bowl of cereal when he stops by. Well this year my son will be at his dad’s, leaving me with the Naughty One.  It probably won’t surprise you, that she and I have decided to leave Santa a cocktail – not too strong, so there aren’t any toy mix-ups. For me, it’s any excuse for a martini. For the pup, she’s hoping if Santa gets a little tipsy he’ll forget about her being on the naughty list.

Cookies and Cream Martini

1 oz. kahlua

1 oz. vodka

1 oz. heavy cream

1/2 oz. of Bailey’s

whipped cream and Oreos

Crush oreos in a plastic bag. Rim martini glass with Kahlua and coat with Oreos. Add Kahlua, vodka, cream, and Bailey’s to martini shaker filled with ice. Shake, pour and garnish with dollop of whipped cream and cookie crumbs.
