You know that feeling of amazement that comes over you when you’re visiting an art museum? You wonder how in the world the artist created such beautiful and unique work. Entertaining is an artform in itself. It starts with an idea and over time, with a little creativity and passion, it can evolve into the masterpiece you envisioned. The Picassos and Monets of entertaining amaze their audiences, just as famous artists have done for centuries.

Amy Atlas is an event planner who creates masterpiece reception tables for parties. I was in awe when I looked at her online album and had to share her beautiful work. She has inspired me to plan a candy buffet table for my upcoming annual gingerbread party. It will be fun to see how it turns out (especially on a fixed budget). I’m hoping with enough creativity and passion, the kids will appreciate the artwork (it’s candy, how can they not love it?). Click on the picture above to view her work.

I can’t wait to see what you do! I think the “presentation” is nearly worth more than the taste! And to have the two together- perfect! The fixed budget thing is pure talent & natural gifting if someone can pull that off!

And remember… candy decor is good for fixed budgets since you can repurpose a lot of the stuff depending on what you get. And by repurpose, I mean putting it in that amazing cake recipe in your other post!
