Yesterday I shared some of the sweets I made for Christa and Baby Kate’s baby shower this past weekend. When deciding what kind of cookies favors to make, I went straight to the experts..the cookie goddesses whose blogs I follow! I’m truly in awe of what some of these ladies come up with. When I saw Bridget’s monogrammed cookies on her blog Bake At 350, I knew they would be perfect for Baby Kate.
I love making polka-dotted sugar cookies, but it was her beautiful monogrammed initials that grabbed me. These are surprisingly pretty easy to make. The initials are made with candy melts (the same that are used for dipping the chocolate covered brownie bites). You print out the initial in the font and size that best fits the cookie, cover the page with waxed paper, and pipe over the letters with the melted chocolate. If you’re thinking of trying this out, go check out Bridget’s detailed “how to” post and see all of her great ideas!

And they were soooo tasty too! Usually cute things don’t taste very good. Katie rocks. Thank you so much for making my shower so special!
Those are beautiful! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a prettier cookie.
Oh my you are perfecting your talent. These all looked like they came from a 5 star resturant. Great!
Yay, yay! They look great!
