Spring and Easter Centerpieces – Easy and Original Ideas to Create a Beautiful Table

Spring is nature’s way of saying, “Let’s party!”

I love this quote from Robin Williams. The beginning of spring always gets me into party mode. I start getting excited about our annual Easter brunch with our family and friends. Now It’s time to put away our winter home accessories and liven things up with the elements of spring.

My mom and I put together several of these darling jelly bean flower arrangements for a baby shower one of my girlfriends hosted this past weekend. They were super cute and made her tables pop with color! Putting this arrangement together was easy. We put a smaller square vase inside of the larger one and filled the outside space with jelly beans. We then covered the portion with the jelly beans in saran wrap, to keep the water away from the jelly beans, as we put the flower arrangements together in the small square vase . Below are a few other great ideas to brighten up your table this season.

Flower Duet

I love this centerpiece from Flower Duet. It just screams spring to me. Putting this together uses the same concept as the one above. Put a smaller vase inside the larger one and line the outside portion with Peeps. Cover in saran wrap before you arrange the flowers in the smaller vase. Skewers would be perfect to hold the Peeps in the bouquet in place. Check out their website for more fun ideas.

Martha Stewart offers several great ideas for centerpieces this spring in a slideshow on her website. The pictures are sure to get your creative juices flowing. I love this simple idea of displaying flower bunches in eggs held in ceramic egg holders. Sometimes Martha’s ideas are a little over the top, but this one is definitely doable.

Country Living has also put together a slideshow filled with ideas for party favors, table settings, and centerpieces. Don’t you love their idea of painting soup cans and filling them with flowers? – Perfect for an outdoor gathering.

If you still haven’t found what you’re looking for, Better Home and Gardens offers 32 more possibilities. This display would look perfect in my dining room! I love how they floated the flowers in these footed dishes and added the eggs to the center.

Finally, Epicurious has put together a do it yourself guide that walks you through each step of putting together a beautiful centerpiece. Have fun bringing spring into your home.
