It seems like most people are on their annual post New Year’s diet. If you are one of those on a diet, good news…you don’t have to give up Happy Hour. There are quite a few diet cocktails out there to make a diet a little more bearable. I’m stealing this martini recipe from my mom’s ”Golden Globe’s/Biggest Loser” party that she hosted last night. When she told me about this very original party theme, I didn’t quite get it at first. It sounded a little wacky to me, but if you know my mom, you know to just step back and let her do her thing. Just like an artist who begins with a vision, the little details she had for this party came together to make it a big success. Tomorrow she’ll share more about her original theme and the yummy low-fat recipes that she served. Here’s a sneak preview of the diet martini she served, which will make you forget you’re on a diet.
Won’t Tip the Scales Martini
1 pack Crystal Light Raspberry Lemonade mix
2 c. water
1 c. vodka
2 c. club soda or mineral water
Pour all ingredients in a martini filled with ice. Shake and pour!
